Please delte if i have posted this in the wrong section

I'm very new to comping and was after some advice if possible please. Do i need tick all the boxes for subscriptions etc when entering a competition to be in with a chance? For example if i only tick 'i understand the terms and conditions' and opt not to receive marketing e-mails will be entry still 'count' or will it be discarded?

Also with regards to postal comps i have just ordered a load of sticky labels with my details on for postcards however there were a lot of options for stamps on ebay. The cheapest ones were saying that they were 'unfranked' but could not be used and were for collection only. Where would you guys advise on the cheapest place to get stamps.
