Help Groupon are refusing to refund me

On Friday I went onto Groupon and booked a Thames rocket ride for my me and my little girl for the next day Saturday.
When I received the email confirmation it just said 2 tickets @ 4pm for ride on Thames.
It did not say the date or day.
I was on my way to collect my daughter from school and I received a call from Thames rockets asking if I was still coming for the ride.
I explained I had booked it for the following day (Saturday).
They said no its booked for today (Friday), I immediately told them there was an error and asked could they either change it to Saturday or cancel it. They told me I needed to call Groupon and get them to cancel it.
I searched for the phone number for over half an hour online, they don't exactly make it easy to get in contact with them.
When I did get in touch they were going to cancel it then said I needed to get confirmation from Thames rockets that I didn't use the tickets.
I forwarded an email to groupon from Thames Rockets stating that we did not get on the ride.
Groupon are refusing to refund me, I am a single mum, this was a big treat for my little girl, I rely on only my income for her so losing nearly £80 is a big deal.
Can anyone help me please?

I had some groupon credits from a previous refund.

Sadly, not been your week with both BA and Groupon refusing refunds
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

In order to book this, you will have selected the date and time yourself, and so this is not their error but your own, and the refund policy is clearly stated.
(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)

Which means you haven't lost £80 of new money ... just a credit note. It only affects you now if you try and buy it again without the credit being available.

It sounds like something happened online and the date defaulted/returned to "today" before you purchased. I've seen and caught this sort of thing before, such as when you've missed a mandatory field or mistyped the confirmation email address. The date field returns to a default. I suspect that happened and you unwittingly confirmed the booking for that day instead of Saturday. If that's the case, you're relying on goodwill for a refund.
