After a flight from London and a transfer through Nairobi, you will reach Mombasa. This historic port city has been a seafaring and trading hub for centuries, and is a rich centre of Swahili culture on a coast fringed by miles of golden beaches and dotted with sacred forests.

At Nyali Beach, a few miles north of Mombasa Island, you’ll find a haven of a very particular kind at Voyager Beach Resort. Though the hotel is firmly set on land, it takes inspiration from nautical adventures, and not just in the decoration of its rooms and the variety of water-based activities that are possible here.
