New gas and electric supplier for 1 bed flat
Hi there
I am moving into a new 1 bed flat next week and am looking for a good quality gas and electricity supplier please?
I used the energy club and saw Bulb energy are really good according to the reviews. However they are down as the 3rd best so I'm wondering who are the 1st and 2nd best?
I also wondered how frequently they change prices. I saw an article on MSE that even after increasing their prices they're still cheaper then top suppliers, can anyone verify this please?
I also need the new supplier to offer warm discount scheme as I'm currently on chemotherapy and in receipt of government benefits as unable to work due to poor health
Any help and advice would be most appreciated
Thank you in advance

You probably know this, but when you move to a new dwelling on the day you ,move in, you must contact the current supplier to the property and give the the date you moved and the meter readings.
Only after they have sent you a Welcome Pack and established your account can you Switch to another supplier0 -

What supply region are you in?
What is your anticipated annual consumption in kWh?
Are you prepared to accept a variable tariff? i.e. a tariff where the prices can go up or down? Martin, on his TV show, recently suggested now was the time to fix, despite variable tariffs often the cheapest currently. That is because he thinks prices are on the way up.
Or would you prefer the security of knowing exactly the tariff you will be charged on for a fixed period, such as 12 months?0 -

I live in Hertfordshire
I don't know my annual consumption as currently my rent in included all bills and I was sharing with others
Re: variable tariff, yes but they give me 60days notice I read so I can jump ship then? Or is that not how it works...0
