The lack of any lights annoyed me on a laptop I had a while back, and I downloaded this -> http://www.snapfiles.com/get/systrayindicator.html
You just get 3 symbols next to the clock that do what you use to get on your old keyboard.

You don't need to press Num Lock for a few seconds, in fact you don't need to check the box in the Setting button as that just enables Num Lock as a Hot Key to enable you to switch on/off the audible indication easily. If you have done this, you have probably toggled the audible indication off again!



All that you need to do is to check the box to enable ToggleKeys in Accessibility Options, Keyboard Tab.



I'm assuming that you clicked Apply, OK after checking use ToggleKeys?

I must have done something right now as tonight there is a beep every time i go into CAPS and vice-versa(?). Thank you to all who posted.
