choosing between o2 and sky, Tesco or giff gaff

signal seems to be better with o2 in my area so i'm going to be switching from EE to one of the 4 operators listed above in a few weeks time
is there any difference in signal or voicemail or facilites between them?
Ive had a quick search online and found a thread saying that o2 limit the bandwidth to the other operators that borrow their network, and also a work colleage has just switched from o2 to BT (EE) and when i've been working with him my phone always has a better signal than his, he is always complaining that he can't make a call or use the internet despite his phone showing it has a signal.

any experience of this?

their isn't much in it price wise, only difference is with o2 I'd pay more but get some cashback offer, and only get 9gb of data compared to 10

It's nonsense about O2 restricting bandwidth but that said if there's not much in it I'd always go for the main carrier. I'm with Sky myself and have no issues with them.

You have to look at the package as a whole and what your usage is. I'm happy with Giffgaff as I only use PAYG and my family and some friends are on it so most of my calls/texts are free. I'll occasionally buy one of their Goodybags if I'm away from home and need data else I'm more than happy using wifi where it's available. Call charges are not that cheap with GG so you may want look elsewhere if you use your phone more for calls.

If you're an existing Sky TV customer then you may be able to get a deal with Sky Mobile.

Giffgaff is on O2 network .
never had a problem but O2 have a strong signal at home for me as do EE . Test networks with a sim card first .
