Rate has now reduced on the website as well as the pdf docs. Interesting to see if HSBC and M&S follow...0

I opened one this morning at 07:00 when the website was still showing 5%, so I expect to get it. I won’t be happy if I’m offered the reduced rate.If you will the end, you must will the means.0

Spare a thought for those of use who are in the process of switching another current account to M&S, solely to get the 5% Regular Saver.0

As IanSt has said HSBC have already reduced theirs to 2.75% for all customers, so once our 5% regular savers mature then we might as well downgrade the account to a normal current account.0

UGGGGHHHH I've just spent so much time over the last week setting up a current account to get access to the regular saver at 5%. Might just cancel switching over to first direct now0

My RS ended 30 Sept and I've only just had a chance to renew. It's so annoying that there isn't a more streamlined way of rolling over into a new account. Couldn't believe it when I saw the rate was now 2.75%! I am totally gutted. I've opened it anyway but feel cheated. What's worse is I initially rang up to open the account and was told it could only be done on-line now. No mention of the massive drop in interest rate of course!0

I get the £50 welcome bonus for the current account but cant see any cash bonus for the savers account now. Going to open up with M&S and se if I can salvage the 5%0
