Lost speeding notification
Comments
-
My husbands speeding notification was inadvertently thrown out .
On ringing 101 they have said he will get a reminder
Is this true?
How does he get a copy?
Thanks in advance
You need to speak to camera enforcement rather than a call handler on 101.
If it's the 172 notice ie who was driving they're not obliged to send a reminder and a simple speeding could become six points and a fine in excess of £500 for failing to nominate the driver.
If it's the fixed penalty notice or offer of a course your husband could end up with a court summons.
Having said all that he'll probably get a reminder but calling them and asking will ensure he gets one.0
