ULEZ and CC PCNs - appeal

Hi all,

I’ve received PCNs for entering the CC and ULEZ zones on two occasions that I plan to appeal.

My car falls into the disabled tax class and hence should have been exempt, however there is an issue. DVLA had failed to update their system with the correct tax class...after much back and forth with the DVLA, having been told it can take several weeks to process a change in tax class, they have acknowledge a balls up and asked me to submit a form via email so that they can send a new V5 and change the tax class.

The issue is, by the time this is sorted I’ll have run out of time to challenge so am having to challenge the PCN with the above in mind.

I can send the receipt showing £0.00 paid for 12 months tax as well as my certificate showing that I am entitled to disabled tax - is this likely to be sufficient? Can also attach my blue badge but the new V5 won’t arrive on time...

Because these are council etc and not private , join pepipoo fightback forums using a non Hotmail address and post on there

This forum mainly deals with private parking tickets
