Cynergy Bank Online Easy Access Account - Faster payments out?

I notice one of the two best instant access accounts right now, the Cynergy Bank Online Easy Access Account, says in its T&Cs that it allows FP transfers out to your nominated account. Can anyone who actually has this account verify this behaviour?


My current instant access savings account and ISA both take 1-2 days to transfer out which is a huge pain, so I'd definitely open this account if I can transfer money out immediately (or 2 hours worst case).

I have a account with Cynergy Bank and I thought all payments go via FP when transferring out to your nominated bank account, but...

I made a withdrawal request this Saturday and it didn't go through to my nominated account - so I made another withdrawal on Saturday and as of now (Monday afternoon) the money is still not showing up in my linked account.
So not really sure about their claim that outbound payments go via the Faster Payment service.

I have spoken to Cynergy bank today (don't know if others are experiencing issues with withdrawals - i had a 20+ mins wait before the call got answered, so maybe others are experiencing the same problem) to see what is going on with the 2 withdrawal requests I made on Saturday - I am waiting for them to call me back.

edit: As I was writing this I got a call back from Cynergy Bank and they are having issues with some payments going out from their customers accounts -

I was told they are looking into the problem but could not tell me when the payments would eventually go through.

Update:

Both payments showed up on Tuesday in the linked account - after withdrawal request on Saturday.

I have no issues with Faster Payments from Cynergy. Sometimes they're delayed, but 99% of the time its relatively instant.
