Ridiculous that the delivery companies still count these areas as outside the mainland, most are just off the A9. Some of the island are hard to get too but the rest? :huh:

thanks for your reply. I've never used ebay shipping I've always gone through Interparcel. I've just linked by account with Packlink but it's coming up with an error and won't show prices and the reason I believe is because the customer has paid with an e-cheque which hasn't yet cleared so the item is not coming up as paid for. You mention £8.00 for Express48 up to 30kg. I need to send to postcode starting IV54. Does this come under the same price. If you could let me know rather than me waiting the time for the e-cheque to clear as if it ends up the same price as Interparcel which is roughly £25.00 then I will have to contact the customer.

I read it as you need to buy Parcel Force through Paypal rather than Packlink.

Packlink get very bad reviews, try buying the courier from the Paypal transaction page once the payment clears.

Post above from RFW suggests the Paypal service has no surcharge for any UK address.
