Hiding cables in TV wall mount - who does this service?

Am trying to get my TV wall mounted and have asked a couple of TV and aerial firms if they could provide that service which both can - however I asked both if they cold at the same time hide the dangling cables and they both said that they stopped doing this service.

What are the options for this service, ideally I want the cables hidden inside the wall rather than having cables covers but am not sure what kind of tradesperson would undertake this job?

Did they say why they stopped? Was there a technical reason?I'd prefer to have proper faceplate(s) wired in behind the tv with power, hdmi, aerial feeds etc. I'd have thought an electrician would do this.

It's pretty easy to do yourself if you have plasterboard walls:

A handyman will have the knowledge to neatly install the cables inside the wall, if the wall is plasterboard or lath and plaster. If the wall has plaster bonded directly to a brick or block inner leaf, hiding the cables will involve channeling out the wall and installation of conduit in the wall. Making this invisible will be impossible unless you have retained wallpaper or paint to match the wall decoration. If you have the wallpaper/paint, a good handyman will make it impossible to see where the work has been done.

There are very neat forms of trunking available now. I used self-adhesive mini D-Line trunking to hide the aerial cable from a wall-mounted TV. I used my laser level to mark the top and bottom of the run (a spirit level would also work), and a long straight edge to ensure the trunking was stuck onto the wall straight between these marks.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Get it done properly, it won’t be too expensive

Avoid hdmi faceplates. Speakers yes, but hdmi is subject to change & revision, having connectors/ extenders etc can play havoc with hdcp etc. Just do a brushed exit for hdmi. Put at least one spare in

We had a company come in and chase cables and add extra power supplies, do the wall mounting etc then had a plasterer skim the wall. You could just fill sand and paint but we wanted tbe best finish to it.

Depends on your wall though ours was solid external, for some walls it might just be feeding holes through it etc
