Today i've saved £12 already and it's only 10.30am! I phoned up my insurance company and reduced my mileage on my car significantly (as I wasn't using that much), saved £4 a month for this contract. Then I cancelled my New York Times subscription (£8 monthly). I 'tried' doing this a year ago and they offered me a good price (almost 50% off) as I had been a long time subscriber. Now, I won't be a fool again- I just don't read it! Get rid!

P.s. forgot to add. Yesterday I saved £10 a month for 6 months by renewing my sim only contract to a promotional offer they have. All the same items, just 24 months locked in. I plan to keep this phone for a few years anyway. Result! Total is now £10+£12+31.80= £53.80 out of £180 target for October.
  • Somebody I did some social media work for at the weekend rang me up and said that I deserved more for the work I'd put in to the project and he is going to throw an extra £40 in alongside the amount I invoiced him for! :)

Current total: £42 65. Thanks for updating!
