  • A few more used up:

    UU

-Listerine cool mint mouthwash, alcohol free-WNBA as prefer the one with alcohol in it.

-Repurposed 3 Aura body washes as handwash.
This was a set of 4 that I think I won in a raffle. Used one of them last month, but didn't like the texture (it was a bit like hair gel) or the scents. They have now been happily mixed in with my handwash that was running low and will be used this way.

@Halogen, have you thought of trying to repurpose some of your stash this way? Shampoos, shower gels, bubble baths can often be repurposed as handwash. Maybe try giving some things away to friends and family if you know they like particular items/brands. Many charities, food banks etc will only take unopened items, so you may not have much joy there, but worth checking.

Got a few things almost finished, so should hopefully meet my target this month.
  • Another UU for October:

Aesop A Rose By An Other Name Shower Gel. WBA. Loved this but its a little out of my price range normally (bought with gift money).

For light hair I would really recommend Maria Nila shampoo- it is a vegan shampoo that is totally wonderful. It is gentle and really worked on my hair when it flares up badly. it is expensive to buy but it lasts so long ang works out as a great value. If you can get a sample it will convince you.

wow yes I just checked out their website it looks fantastic! I panic bought another product in the end but will come back and try this for sure.

Shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath are also very good for cleaning the bathroom, shampoo is good for cleaning makeup brushes, all three can be used to bath a dog if you have one and all work well for handwashing clothes.

I am definitely nearing the end of this journey.

I purchased some Georganics charcoal zero waste floss the other day. The dispenser is brilliant though the floss is a bit intense! I might switch up the refills to something more gentle when I am out of it! I would say it works out slightly more expensive than regular floss but not massively so and I am willing to pay a little extra tbh. I am not counting this as an IN, to be honest, but thought those who read this forum might be interested.

Currently using my last remaining shampoo as a shower gel as I hate it on my hair.
Still not sure what to do about a conditioner I hate using but is not resealable now.

can anyone recommend something for sensitive scalp/promoting hair regrowth? I have very fine hair. Wondering if baby shampoo or something medicated is best.

Got two free samples the other day, 1 of shampoo 1 of conditioner, can't for the life of me remember the brand but will update when I have used them.

I have the Georganics floss, I got the regular silk one though, it is cruelty free silk so I was ok with that. The dispenser is the cutest thing ever. I like the floss it is very grippy rather than slippy so I think it is more effective, I will be trying a vegan cornstarch one as a refill when I need to and will see how that compares.

This sounds lovely, I love rose scented products, although I just checked the price:eek:

I'm being good and not buying any more shower gels/body washes until my stash is well and truly reduced, but this might be something nice to aim for in the future. (Mmm, actually think I have a rose shower gel among my stash, come to think of it.:D)

All great ideas Dolly, hope Halogen can use up some of her stash.

I know  it did last ages though so cost per use is probably ok :D

Hi everyone - I came back this morning from my holiday in Turkey and feel pretty tired. I bought A LOT OF bath soaps ( i think around 20 bars in different scents/shapes/brands). I have bought 10 x face masks from their version of Boots - South Korean brands and cost about £1.20 a mask thanks to currency. I purchased couple of Flormar nail polishes - 468 Pony Tale, 320 Rose Taboo, 227 Milk Foam.

I have uu'ed couple of travel-size toiletries but nothing major so not a great progress. However, my Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Cream doesn't have much left. This is a very nice cream, feels amazing on the skin but I'm not sure how effective it is. It has great reviews and I suspect, it would be amazing on more mature skin. I have ordered their new Vitamin C Oxygen Booster Moisturiser to try.

I also purchased Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate x 2 from the airport. They had a deal and I paid around £46 for 2 x 50 ml which is a really good price.

I will catch up with the thread later, hope all well and apologies for a rushed post but I'm knackered!
    ally.

Glad I didn’t get that one then as I have similar colours. Enjoy, though you may not wear it until next Summer. Do you buy the TILI boxes? I think there’s another due for release soon.

I'll probably put it on my toes! No I don't get boxes any more, I never seemed to like most of the stuff that was in them!

    I have some updates....

GA - Avon Planet Spa Heavenly Hydration Eye Gel Mask 15ml - this was a nice consistency but made my eyes itch as some creams tend to, glad I tried it though!

NBIs from my Avon stash, I'm giving up Avon as it's pretty pointless for me these days, so I've nabbed the bits of my stock that I want and am selling off the rest!

    3D Plumping Lipstick Twig
Gel Shine Nail Enamels in Daysie, Dazzle Pink P806, Illuminize and Sheer Love P805
    Glimmerstick Brow Definer Soft Black
    Lip Crayon Red Haute
Magic Effects Fringe - Cosmic - Eclipse
Nailwear Pro+ in Majestic Mauve and Real Red
True Colour Glow Bronzing Pearls in Bronze Bright and Warm Glow

    Care Smoothing Oatmeal Soap 90g x 2
Naturals Shower Gel 200ml - Cherry Blossom
Nutra Effects Deep Nourishment In-Shower Lotion 250ml
Senses Dark Chocolate & Coconut Shower Creme 250ml
Senses Shower Creme 250ml - Happiness

SSS Original Dry Oil Spray 150ml
SSS Silky Moisture Creamy Body Wash 250ml

I will have some proper INs towards the end of the month as well, I'm stocking up while I still have my discount!
