Item sent after refund of

I bought an item from the states and after 16 weeks of no item and excuses via email I got my money back via my credit card company, I had complained about this company to the better business bureau in America, one of the replies I had from the company said they were in the process of disputing my claim, how you can dispute that I didn’t have an item I don’t know. Anyway roll on a few weeks and I get an auto email from the company saying my items been dispatched..... I think he’s doing this so I sign for it and then he can get the money back....
However I’m not sure how this works....as I’ve been refunded.
If I sign for the item will I risk him getting his money back?
Trying to work out is this is why he’s done it.
Thanks

  • When it comes, if it's a delivery method that requires a signature then simply refuse to sign for it or if there will be VAT/import duty payable, again, simply state that you no longer want the item and it should eventually find its way back to the seller.

Just to cover yourself, I would also suggest that you contact your credit card issuer to advise them of this.

I would forward the auto email back to the company and say that you assume this is an email sent in error because you ordered 16 weeks ago and have since cancelled and received a refund as it didn't arrive.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
