Recommendations for white trade paint

Hi all

Doing quite a big renovation for my new place (160sq m with 3.6m high walls).

80% of the property we want will be white as doing some coloured feature walls. All ceilings and cornicing will also need to be done as currently the entire house is a horrible nicotine colour.

Having a look at Johnsons and looks good from reviews and price.

What I don't want is paint that becomes yellow-y after a year (not from nicotine lol) as I had with Dulux about 10 years back when painting our previous place.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - doesn't have to be the cheapest as I'd much prefer less coats to cut down on time so quality is more important over price (and time to do it since I'll be hiring a decorator). TIA.

Another vote for Johnson,s.We have used it a couple of times and has not turned yellow.
ITS NOT EASY TO GET EVERYTHING WRONG ,I HAVE TO WORK HARD TO DO IT!
  • Is it nicotine colour or nicotine staining as they will need to be handled differently depending on what is actually going on.

White emulsion for walls and ceilings tend to stay white for years. It's gloss type paints for wood that turn yellow.

Thanks.....gone for the Johnsons for white and will likely buy Dulux for the feature coloured walls.

The flat isn't stained from nicotine as there's no smell and is consistent everywhere, likely just the colour the last people decided on for the place (they bought it 20 years ago). Who in their right mind likes the colour nicotine :rotfl:
