Yeah tbh I've literally only got 2 DDs to switch over with and I really can't be bothered with getting two more going for the gift card benefit. I don't shop at m+s at all either so it's not something I'm fussed over. Also, the 1250 per month pay in would mean even more money circulating around and its a hassle I'm happy to do without for the sake of a gift card that would only be of use as a gift to someone else!
I've heard the application process is very slow, no doubt even slower if many people are rushing to open an account with them since HSBC and first direct cut their saving rates. I'm expecting m+s to follow suit before long.0
