HL don't accept LISA transfers. I partially transferred a skipton cash LISA to AJ Bell S&S LISA0

I've transferred Moneybox Cash LISA to AJ Bell S&S.
When the transfer goes through am I right in thinking AJ Bell will be holding it in cash and then I need to select my investments? I use Vanguard for my kids' ISAs - is it a similar process?
In April I will quickly open a Cash LISA with the best option at the time (so as to do it before I turn 40) so that I have both in situ but only invest in one per tax year.0 -

If you've transferred from a Cash LISA to the AJ Bell S&S LISA then yes the money will just be waiting for you to invest once it has been fully transferred over. I don't use Vanguard but I expect the process of trading is going to be similar.0
