Sofa Buying Advice - Sofology Alternative?

Hello,
I am looking for a new leather sofa. Specifically I want one 2-seater and one 2.5-seater.
We were in Sofology and really liked the look of the 'Galleria' model - https://www.sofology.co.uk/sofas/Galleria About £2500 for the pair with their 'insurance' product. We are cash buyers.
They wouldn't budge on the price so we walked away. I then read absolutely loads of terrible reviews, including a lot on here. Issues seem to fall into problems with delivery, and problems with the product. It worries me that a lot of people are saying the products they receive aren't on par with what was in the store. In particular complaints of creases at the seams and 'puddling' worry me.
So... Where can I buy a nice pair of leather sofas? I want a 'hard wearing' leather (cats) with a 'distressed' look. Also for it to sit on the floor (so cats don't hide underneath).

I used to love it when people asked me for a discount when I was selling furniture. It's a simple no everytime for a multitude of reasons but the main one being if you do it for one person you'll soon be doing it for everyone, "my mate got x% off here last week, if you don't do it for me I'll walk". Bye then! Once word gets out you'll never be a serious business again.

I got £200 off my carpet from a national chain by just asking. One assumes the company has to pay for the 0% finance so by not taking it they might have had a little more leverage. Even if they'd given me a hundred I might have purchased there and then. Since they offered me nothing, I decided just to walk away. I still have the option to go back.
I don't buy the 'my mate' thing - if I get a little discount and recommend a business to my friends then you've basically got the best kind of marketing you can get - personal recommendations, and made a sale you might not have made at all.
If I could get the sofa they have in the store I'd be happy. The problem appears to be that some are claim differences in quality to what they're delivered. Since it's custom ordered you have no recourse to refuse the delivery. I note they sell ex-demo models at a decent discount - perhaps this is the way to go?
Why not bother with the insurance product? I suppose if it was seriously damaged we could claim on the contents insurance.0 -
Take a look at Saxon based in Bolton. sofasbysaxon.com Their sofas and armchairs are top quality. You would be buying direct from the manufacturer.0
