weflip compared to cheap energy club

I have been trying weflip and I think they put us on zebra energy however they aren't even on cheap energy club. Does anyone have tips on whether one is better than the other?

If you want a job doing properly do it yourself.

Is one better than the other, probably not. As Energy Twist has highlighted, unless you use an accredited site that analyses the whole market, it's a pointless exercise.

If you're happy for an organisation to make money out of you by switching you to the cheapest of a selection of suppliers who pay them kickbacks in return for them doing so, then carry on. You're effectively paying weflip through your energy bill - you need to question what you're actually paying them for?

If you want to be with the cheapest supplier for your consumption profile, do it yourself.

Perhaps you could quote the tariff to see whether it truly is a good deal. No problem with Zebra. I'm with them and they have been faultless. In fact, I stayed with them even though I could have saved £30 (year) by switching.

  • if they have already "flipped " you to Zebra Energy, its time to flip out of Weflip..I ve checked Zebra Energy prices and tariffs on their website for a friends kwh usage I entered for South Yorks area were £130 a year more expensive .. IMO you are just adding another "middleman " in the chain who wants a cut so they are unlikely to beat DIY

Another problem with auto-switching sites is that several energy companies refuse to work with them, so the market is even narrower.

Unsurprisingly, they just don't want the all the hassle and expense of customers that will keep signing up and then ditching and switching.
