Annual Travel Insurance query

Hi,
I always take out an annual family travel insurance policy, but now booked way further in advance than I ever have before.
So, took policy out Feb 19
Booked flights & Accom Mar 19
Took holiday Aug 19
Booked flights Sep 19 for Aug 2020
Now in Feb 20 when I renew policy/take out a new one with different provider, if something was to happen(which would be a valid claim), which policy is covering me for those flights??

The policy that is active at the time of a claim.:beer:0

Your existing policy will cover you for cancellations until Feb 20, then your new policy will cover you for anything incl period of holiday itself from then on.0
