Transfer Existing Isa half Way Through Year

I have an existing isa with NSI currently earning 0.95% interest a year paid annually in April.
I want to transfer to a fixed isa for 2 years earning 1.75%.
if I transfer it now at the end of the year in April will I still get interest from NS&I or will I lose it.
if I do is there a right time to transfer so I can get this year from Ns & I and next years from the new one.

NS&I will pay you interest up to the day your ISA is transferred out.
Just in case you are not aware: to retain the ISA status of your money, you have to request the transfer with the new provider. The entire deposit you made in the current tax year must be transferred - something you had probably in mind, anyway.
Note also that it is highly unlikely that you will be able to make any additional deposits into the 2 year fixed ISA, as fixed term account generally only have a very short deposit window, or even only allow just one deposit.0
