Hi there,
I am new to gardening so was wondering if anyone can help. I have this small 3.5x4m garden in the picture. I am planning to lay turf. Can you anyone advice should I go for normal turf or go for shaded turf. Due to the shadow being casted from the massive tree and my garage there is limited and sunlight.
I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with 'shaded turf' but, in areas where there are established trees the grass infront can suffer from drought as its roots will be reducing the moisture and nutrient from the grass or plants around it, and, the lack of light can create moss formation.
Similarly, where there is a garage casting shade you may have moss forming within the blades of grass there aswell, with this degree of shade the moss will most likely take over and you'll be permanently battling it.
Maybe consider another ground covering there, artificial grass, gravel, stone or slate chippings …… these aren't a living thing so will cope with damp/dry/moss formation easily.0
