Hsbc claim for Thomas Cook flights?
Dentoned
So I logged my claim on Hsbc’s website through their “Problem with Thomas Cook” form quoting I wanted to claim back off S75. I’m claiming for £1179 (off my credit card) worth of flights due to be used end of October-November to mexico.
I’ve just called them as it’s been 5 days since I logged the claim they said they would contact me after “5 wrong days” which I guess is monday? Is anyone else claiming back off HSBC? How’s your progress???

You already have a thread about your TC woes....

I was intending this to gather info on HSBC claim/chargebacks, as I’ve seen some banks are more helpful than others, isn’t that allowed?0

Well it hasnt even been a full 5 calendar days since TC went bang, let along working days, so how can it have been 5 days since you filled the forms in? At best its been 4. Pedantry I know, but accurate.0

I can only give a guide from what happened for me when Monarch went bust. I called my bank (not HSBC) a few days after everything went belly up, and it was back in my account within a couple of weeks. Monarch was smaller than TC so it may well take longer in your situation. As others have said, have patience. There are thousands of people in your situation and they can't all be resolved at the same time.0

It took nearly a month for NatWest to sort my Monarch one out. Form submitted 5th October, paid back in on the 31st (from memory)0
