just got a ps3
how does one go about getting it online with a wireless router??
i have a netgearwgr614 connected to my pc with a wg111 wireless adaptor.
will i be able to plug the usb adaptor in the ps3??

but it says on the box: wi-fi certified??
also been reading some posts on the net, that surfing the net on the ps3 can be damaging to the system??

the 40GB does have wifi. It loses ps2 games playback, media ports and thats about it.
Go into settting, Network Settings on the PS3 and away you go.
You will need the SSID and etc from your Router in order to connect.
