ps3 wireless?

just got a ps3

how does one go about getting it online with a wireless router??

i have a netgearwgr614 connected to my pc with a wg111 wireless adaptor.

will i be able to plug the usb adaptor in the ps3??

PS3 has wifi built in dude, no need for anything extra.

mines a 40gb

but it says on the box: wi-fi certified??

also been reading some posts on the net, that surfing the net on the ps3 can be damaging to the system??

Only in the last couple of weeks has there been anything other than a 60 "GB" version on sale in the UK.

As far as I can tell from the press releases the 40 "GB" version does have wi fi as well.

the 40GB does have wifi. It loses ps2 games playback, media ports and thats about it.

Go into settting, Network Settings on the PS3 and away you go.

You will need the SSID and etc from your Router in order to connect.
