Arranging travel insurance whilst on holiday

Hi guys. Help required please.
We are already away and have just learnt our travel insurance stops after 31 days, we plan to stay longer. Our bank with whom we have travel insurance will not extend the insurance. Every company we have approached says we can only take insurance out in UK before we travel. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions where we can get cover after our current insurance stops? Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi EveryWhere
Sorry, didn’t see you reply until after I bumped. I haven’t been on here for some years and I’m finding it difficult to navigate the site. I keep losing the forums and getting stuck in the guide page loops 😨 I was going around and around in circle last night. We’ll check your suggestion out today. 💐0 -
Has anyone used bigcattravelinsurance? We’re trying to book with them but they want us to buy the policy before declaring preexisting conditions, with other policies we’ve always declared preexisting conditions before paying any money.0

I have used them before, my wife has high blood pressure which needed to be declared. We did this before buying the policy, spoke to someone over the phone and they recommended that we declared preexisting conditions before buying the policy.0

Thanks MichaelGre2931
They won’t cover me as I’m waiting for a referral to a dermatologist for a benign skin problem, so as I’m waiting for a referral to a consultant of any kind, they will not cover for pre existing conditions, even if totally unrelated 😖0
