Housing Benefits and ESA

Hi guys.
My advocate came round earlier as i will now be looking after and paying my own bills etc.
On the phone to the DWP regarding my ESA whilst going through security i vaguely remember them asking if we receive housing benefits to which my advocate said no, even though im sure I do.
Is this important and should I get him to call them back ? Thanks

Why would you need to ring them back? Housing benefit is paid by your local council and not DWP.Hi guys.
