PIP Review

I have just sent in my PIP review form - they told me not to include any information that they already have, so I phoned them and asked if the information they already had would stand because it was from 2015 when I made my 1st claim but things had not changed at all. She told me they did not want that information again and the form stated quite clearly that I was not to send in a Dr's support letter, it just said it was a review and each question asked if there was any change in my condition to which I replied my condition was the same as it was in 2015 when I 1st claimed and repeated what had been described when I 1st filled it in. I am 65 and my claim is due to end in March 2020 and I recieve my state pension in May 2020 so I know that I just miss the soft review for pensionable age claiments. My biggest concern is that they will use this as a reason to refuse my renewal because they are trying to stop over 65's from getting the mobility component of PIP - has anyone had any experience of this situation at all.

You should always treat a PIP claim as a first claim whether it's a review or not. Putting as much information in the form as possible and adding a few real life examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you.
For all my reviews i send in the evidence, whether it was sent last time or not. I never trust anyone and neither do i take anything for granted when it comes to a review for any benefit claim.
Yes, they should look at your current award but whether they do or not is a different story.
Expect another face to face assessment because most people have them, paper based assessments are rare. Waiting times vary depending on backlog in your area.

I have never heard any suggestion of that.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
