Can anyone link me to a forum on getting a SAR from an unwilling company? We have submitted a SAR from the parking company mentioned above. They in return requested ''scanned copy of two of the following:

• Driving License
• Passport
• Council Tax or Utility Bill (not more than 3 months old) showing your name and address
• Any other official document which confirms your identity (please ensure any financial information is redacted if providing evidence from a bank or credit card statement)''

Plus

• ''The ownership details from the V5 Logbook
• Written authorisation from the Registered Keeper named on the V5 Logbook where this is not listed as yourself''

We said there request was intrusive and excessive, but they are holding firm.

Give them a final warning and chance to cough up the SAR as you have proved who you are (have you at least given them the V5C?) then report them online using the data complaint/concerns report form on the ICO website.

We are no longer the keeper of the car, but have given them the V5C/2 which we still have.

Send them a copy of your County Court Claim Form. That is equally good proof of who you are.

The SAR is not your immediate priority though.

Remember...

...you have until 4pm on Wednesday 9th October 2019 to file your Defence.
