In addition, you should check if there is an option to switch between SATA and PCIe in the BIOS. Might be useful to know if it supports PCIe and if so, can it boot from it.

Aaah...you've already slotted it in. Will you choose to boot the OS from it?
Yes, looks upside-down to me but sure it wouldn't fit in the other way... a bit of brute force. Aim is to boot from it - the only reason I got it was for the M.2 capability. Cheers all!

Let me know if you think it's worth the £75 once you installed to the M.2 SSD. Might be someone's Christmas present. Awaiting your review.

That's a bit cheap for a Christmas present :money:
It's a grade C refurb from (don't laugh) barmybargains. I think laptopoutlet have had them too. This is the Pentium N5000 - I think there are some poorer ones to avoid (N3550?). I think Curry's have been selling them for outrageous amounts. Wasn't expecting much but appears to be in very good condition...Only comment so far is that the power connector doesn't fit very well (too long); presumably its not the original one.

Really, fifteen presents at £100 each is hardly cheap. How much do you recommend that I spend?
Not looking at Grade C, but Grade A/open box at that price. Though perhaps the N4200 model. Still awaiting your performance review. :);)

Sorry, better late than never (I see the 20% off Ebay code PLENTIFUL expires tonight). The N5000 gives a CPUmark of 2000 but with WD M.2 SATA SSD its fine.
I've got the 13.3" Geobook which is very heavy for some reason (metal case?); no fan vents (fanless then); trackpad is a bit jumpy but other than that a bargain for under £100 (with SSD). Of-course its only worth it with the SSD.
N4000s available for £75 (but only with soon to expire code).
    e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIVETECH-3-13-3-Cheap-Windows-Laptop-Intel-Celeron-N4000-4GB-RAM-32GB-eMMC/193098222649

I was hoping for something a bit more in depth than, "it's fine". :)
