    You are giving away too much information.

    It's irrelevant if someone was or was not in the car, or the engine was or wasn't running. The car was parked.

    Just send the appeal template in blue as already advised, then read up about PoPLA.

    Your version might have given away who was driving and I hate that double past tense!
