Cancelling credit card

in Credit cards
Hello everyone!
I am a student, and a couple of months ago I got an amazon credit card to take advantage of the £15 voucher offer to help with the costs of buying books for uni.
This has been done now, and I've paid the bill in full. I was wondering where I need to send my letter to get in cancelled, and what information I need to have in the letter.
I don't really know much about credit cards, so I apologise if this is a bit of a stupid question!
Thank you all in advance

The cancellation procedure is detailed in your credit agreement.0

Just send in a letter saying you wish to cancel your account with your account reference included. Also ask for written confirmation that it has been closed and marked as closed on your credit files.0

If its your only credit card then you might do well to keep it to establish a good credit record (useful later when you what mortgages and things).
Just spend occasionally on things you would anyway buy and pay it off fully each month.. if you're not very well organised then set up a DD for the full amount.
But obviously don't treat it like free money.0
