Can I claim for food at work?

Hi

I am PAYE Fully employed and do a 37 hour week. I work form a van all day and have heard a lot of people in my company claiming tax relief or expenses for lunch just on a normal 7am-3pm working day. This seems wrong to me and I don't want to try and do it until I know the rules.

Does anyone know if I can claim for meals?

Try the cutting tax or employment board.

Note that tax relief and claiming company expenses are totally separate.
What does your company policy say about claiming lunch expenses?
Have you asked your manager?

If you are employed, it will come down to your employers expenses policy.
