Cheapest Provider Gas / Electricity London
I live in a three bedroom house - We were with NPower but have moved over to Scottish Powere Online energy saver 4.
My question is is this provider the cheapest and how much do they charge - They have a price list here
http://scottishpower.co.uk/pricing_pdfs/ole/olesaver4.pdf
but I ve looked at my bill and tried to match the supply code which is S10 which tallies to area 'Eastern' which is wrong?
Ideas?

Which is cheapest depends on how much gas/electricity you use and what method of payment.
Sometimes it is cheaper to 'lose' your dual fuel discount and get your gas and electricity from separate suppliers.
Putting your postcode into the comparison sites with your annual consumption in kWh(do not use monthly payments) will tell you who is cheapest.
If you believe you are in London area for supply you should look to see who is cheapest before complaining as Eastern are cheaper than London on many supplier's tariffs.
I do know that Eastern District covers part of the North and East of Greater London area(Essex and Hertfordshire)0 -
***Response pasted from the other thread you posted on***
You can live in LEB's distribution area and have an MPAN beginning with 10 for Eastern. That LDNO market opened up over a ear ago to allow distribution competition e.g. embedded networks, LNO's etc.
So, when you build a property now you could contract your supply work to Eastern who with own your MPAN and do the work, or subcontract it to the local dsitributor and still own your MPAN.
MPAN's no longer denote your distribution region, the GSP data item does per changes under P62.
This is all still very new though so not many customers would come across this. Some LNO's have been grabbing new sites. I know I've seen a few here and there.
Also, there is always the case that whilst the MPAN is in the right region, someone may change the address in error and it "appears" to be out of region. That does not sound like your case though.
This would be tricky for comparison since the changes open the distribution market up. You would be classed as living in 12 but be on a 10 MPAN. It's very likely at this stage that Suppliers & comparison sites are not updated for this.
Where you actually live when you say London? Some people class London as a much wider range when they say it.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
