Just had a call with a pre-recorded call, going on about my Amazon Prime subscription was up for renewal (something along those lines, I wasn't really listening). I am not currently Amazon Prime subscriber.

Had same yesterday but just hung up. Amazons business model in regards to Prime appears to be trick people to sign up or bank on them not remembering to cancel free trials etc so the idea of them phoning to remind you is pretty laughable.
It does seem to be a new one though. My call was the first time i have heard of this one.0 -
More than likely this call didn't originate from Amazon and was just phishing0

Clearly this is not Amazon calling.
Amazon make it very clear when you sign up for prime. If you take advantage of their month free prime and don't cancel, then thats your fault.0 -
