• Competition opens at 16:00 on 24.09.2019
• Competition closes at midday on 10.03.2020 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1) The prize comprises:
a) Travel allowance of up to £400;
b) Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two at The Crown Hotel and Spa in Yorkshire, based on sharing a twin or double room (subject to availability);
c) Daily breakfast (with a choice of full English or Continental) and three course dinner for two at the hotel;
d) Visit for two to the World of James Herriot attraction in Thirsk; and
e) £1,000 spending money.

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken by 30th June 2020 and cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (19th December 2019 to 4th January 2020). The stay is subject to availability.
4) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to the local laws in the UK.
5) The prize excludes travel arrangements, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
6) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
7) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
8) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
10) A cheque for the spending money and travel allowance included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
