Online ebay purchase/paypal/credit card

Hi all,
In July I made a purchase on ebay for a rather expensive laser that no longer works. It was bought from China.
I payed via credit card through paypal as it was near £400. After a few uses it no longer works. I've contacted the seller but they are just fobbing me off. The listing is no longer active so I cannot go to ebay resolution center or paypal to try get a refund.
It would cost more in postage than the laser itself to send back so that isn't an option if it was an option.
What are the chances of me getting a refund by the card company? I imagine slim to none and would take this as an expensive lesson but I'm hoping there is something I can do.
If this is in the wrong forum please accept my apologies,
Cheers

Well odds on as via Paypal S75 is out of the window.
Chargeback right, well it would have to been faulty from when received.
Paypal dispute rights are 180 days. So give them a ring.Life in the slow lane0
