Need some sort of long thin external light

Bit of a long shot really, but has anyone ever spotted a long thin external light? (Something along the shape of a florescent {sp?} light.)
I need some light at my front door and as I have planters and hanging things either side that I'm loathe to get rid of, the only other place is above the door. The door and glass panel is quite wide so just a round or oval bulkhead type would probably look too daft and insignificant?
Any ideas or suggestions?

You could go for an over hanging lantern positioned above the door - something along these lines:

Thanks Jonesya....that first one looks like it might do the job just fine. I think I was maybe too focused on shape to consider other options properly.0
