    you could add:

Hypermiler.co.uk - If you are really keen to cut your fuel usage try some of the tips on this UK website
Spiritmonitor - This is a German website a bit like Fuelly but you can compare how you are doing with lots of people in Europe

If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

This may have been posted before, but a very useful site.

  • Hi there,

I'd like to promote a website that I have been putting together to give up to date pricing for cars based on real auction sales. Would appreciate any feedback and a listing in this thread would be much appreciated.

I can't post the link but it's in my profile (and username).

    Thanks
    -Dave
  • I find this motoring website good, a nice bit of motoring news in the front page, a friendly bunch of motoring enthusiasts in Essex that like to help out on their forum.

  • Here's a few car finance related sites I hope people find useful:

    Loan Calculator
Useful for seeing how much interest v’s principle you’re paying off each month

Guide to Finance and Help With Car Finance Problems
Handy site from the Finance and Leasing Association for helping you make decisions on what type of finance agreement to go for and what to do if things go wrong. Also includes a finance calculator.

    Car Finance (Prime)
You can’t apply direct, but there’s a useful ‘find a dealer’ facility and information on variety of financial products for car purchases.

    Car Finance (All Status)
Of all the online finance brokers out there, these are the only ones I’d recommend using for mainstream cars.

    Car Finance (Prestige and Performance)
They know their onions when it comes to finding finance for top end cars, highly recommended.

Car Finance For People With Bad Credit
Offer conditional sale agreements for people who don’t meet normal lending criteria. Also includes a finance calculator.

    New Car Brokers
Drive The Deal and Broadspeed aim to find best dealer prices out there, so useful as a negotiating tool when with your dealer.

    Car Leasing
If you can work your way through the ‘interesting’ website, this is actually a really good (and informative) place to check out deals on leasing.

CO2 CalculatorWork out your RFL using the CO2 calculator at the SMMT portal

Benefit In Kind Calculator For Company Car Drivers
See how much your next company car could cost you in tax

Some of the best automotive sites are on the other side of the pond where driving an old banger to the ground is the norm rather than the exception (this must be an MSE bonus point for the yanks), these two sites will make you laugh out loud and cringe but never the less they are not just for petrol heads.

Cartalk is an old favorite (favourite?!) of mine, this site is based on a radio show that goes for decades now and must be one of the best combination of real automotive data and jokes. (they have an excellent funny podcast that I recommend you to listen to while on the road).

http://jalopnik.com is another good one, everything automotive for people who like cars (and can have laugh on themselves) and not just fast exotic ones which you never going to see or drive as in most UK publications.
Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!
