    Does burnt bread dough smell like burnt toast? If so I like it!

    Mmmm our common room at work always smells of burnt toast.

    Skint spice, you should send your son down here. I've picked about £1 off the floor this week. The kids at the high school consider keeping any change below a 10p piece to be 'sad'. Hopefully he'll never grow up to be one of those, although I must say it comes in handy for me. I have ne shame.

    Nope, no Christmas Shopping for me - you have got to be kidding, crowded shops, awful music, no parking etc. I've been to work ( I teach swimming), read the paper, had a sandwich, wrapped up a load of presents and am just going to make some more cards. Have to pick DD up from station sometime this evening and thats it!!!

    Well done tig! off to put on all my coats at once and watch the xmas lights being turned on, I had better get a glass of that mulled wine they mentioned...
    Silvercharming - it's the same up here too, one of my friends makes a fortune out of the money the teenagers throw away outside the sandwich shops at lunchtime! sadly I'm on an industrial estate myself...

    Good news on a debt going!!

    I have done a couple of adult ed workshops today, and have to go and do my bar job in a while. Catching up on MSE with a quick coffee or two in between. Could quite fancy going to sleep though......oh well!
