Afternoon folks. Pleased to hear you got home safely GERS. Let's hope you haven't to wait too long for your next w/e at home.
We had steady away rain this morning but none of the heavy downpours we were promised. And now all is calm again.
I had a lovely morning with my friend, followed by a nice lunch. Then we had a wander round a few shops. I was lucky and managed to bag a couple of bargains. Firstly a jumper reduced to £10 in Wallis. It said size S but when I tried it on at home it's so big and baggy I am thinking it should have been sized XXL!!! Ne'er mind for that price I'll hang on to it. Next stop the shop where friend's DGD has a Saturday job. Everything in store was 20% off and friend gets 25% off on top courtesy of her DGDs friends and family discount card. So she "paid" for an amber rain jacket I had zoomed in on and I reimbursed her outside! Bargain at almost half price and I just love the colour!
I'm glad to be home now with my feet up as my painful legs were really giving me grief. I am just hoping the MRI scan next week pinpoints the problem and something can be done to help.
I think just a sandwich and soup will suffice at teatime after my big lunch so a sachet of my celery soup is out defrosting in readiness.
Enjoy the rest of the day folks if you can. Take care xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
