Moving from Equiniti

Evening folks
I inherited some shares from my late mother which are held in an Equiniti investment account which charges a minimum of £12.50/maximum of £20 holding fee in April and October.
I currently have two different companies in which we have funds so I think that's two lots of charges coming up. One of them has around £400 worth of shares which I am thinking of getting rid of due to the forthcoming minimum £12.50 charge and that the shares are not performing that well (and haven't for awhile).
The other shares are worth approximately £15k but as we're not looking to sell right now, I feel like I'm paying £40 a year for nothing and surely there's better/cheaper places to keep them (fee free).
Does anyone have any recommendations please. We may sell some in the next year if we move house but not necessarily.
Thanks

Yeah I think they charge £35 (gits) but I wasn't planning on selling the shares before April and within that time I would have paid £20 twice anyway. I saw X-O on MSE guide so looking at them. Thanks for your help.0
