Smart meter and meter not going down! Stuck on same amount.

Over the past couple of days I have noticed my smart meter has been stuck on the same amount. I've also checked the meter and its showing the same amount. I have a pre paid smart meter from SSE. Should I call them and let them know or should SSE be keeping tabs on it?

I had this with British Gas after a service call in which they changed the smart meter hub.Check the tariff standing charge unit rate at the meter mine was not deducting any amount for ten day's before I realised the amount on the worksheet was still the same when I connected the inhome display.The energy supplier will need to be contacted if this is the case.

Always go by the meter not the inhome display.I was told by British Gas that it was the inhome display but the meter reading was exactly the same also.

If you have a faulty meter it is in everyones T and C s with all suppliers to inform the supplier as soon as possible. .
