Faulty Washing Machine from Argos

Hi, Can someone advise me please?
I bought a Bush washing machine from Argos in December 2018, it was extremely (and unbearably) noisy so I asked for it to be replaced immediately. I got the new replacement one in January 2019 and it had exactly the same problem. I kept contacting Bush and Argos about this issue, and over 5 months I had 5 Bush engineers have a look at the washing machine, and it was only the last one who did his job properly by opening the top lid of the machine, he had a look and within seconds identified that loose bolts around the drum were causing all the noise. He fixed them in place. When I asked how this could have happened to a brand new washing machine, he said "whoever put this machine together in the factory had done a bad job," and that's when I decided that I do not want this washing machine anymore because I am not sure what problems are waiting to happen. Argos team refused to allow me to replace washing machine with a different (better) brand, although I said I'll pay the difference in price; their excuse was that the fault had been fixed and that I am requesting the replacement out of the 30 day returns period. I explained again and again to the advisors and complaints team that I did report the fault within 30 days and I only went by their procedure waiting for engineers to confirm the fault, plus the fact that the engineer said that the machine was poorly manufactured, which I only new in June. Now that Argos complaints team have said they cannot assist me any further, I am looking for an ombudsman service but couldn't find one that can offer free advice for cases similar to mine. Can you help me please?

What do you actually want? As I read it you have been allowed to get rid of the machine for a full refund. What more do you want?
ETA: Sorry, I misread the OP's post and thought they'd been allowed to upgrade to a more expensive machine.0 -
I read OP as washing machine now repaired 8 months after purchase .
But user does not want machine due to possible future problems .
OP
No washing machine ombudsman suggest asking CAB .0 -
As above, machine has now been repaired and currently in working order.
The 30 day short term right to reject is not applicable because even though the original issue was raised within that period you've allowed the machine to be repaired and it's now in a working condition. Should/if it fail again then you will be allowed to reject it for a refund but any future refund will have to take into account the usage you've had from the machine.0
