Transitional Protection

Sorry still trying to sort out my benefits

Can you tell me if this is correct

If you have transitional protection in the support group and then move to the workgroup when you move back to the support group you lose your transitional protection.

Not sure of answer to your question but it is worth noting that, I believe, all Incapacity Benefit to ESA transitional Protection is scheduled to end in April 2020 anyway.

I am not sure but I think you retain transitional protection as long as you remain entitled to ESA (up until April 2020).

If I moved from the support group contributions esa and move into the workgroup but my pension is more than the benefit therefore it was nil rate would this be classed as a break in entitlement

    Thank you

    In my opinion, yes.
