Apple won’t repair under warranty

Hi there looking for some advice .
I purchased a MacBook Pro with apple care , the keyboard started playing up so i put it into Glasgow store for repair. They have now gotten back to myself saying there is water damage which is 100% untrue, it is in mint condition, very well taken care of . I have asked for proof of this damage but I am getting the runaround to several different departments and am currently awaiting someone calling me back in regards of proof .
What can I do about this as I am very frustrated and angry when I know whatever is wrong has not been due to what they are saying. They are wanting £400 + to repair , but it’s not even about the money it’s the principle of saying there has been damage done when I know there’s not , can anyone advise what my next steps are , thanks for any advice .

Apple will say that the water indicators are showing that there has been moisture ingress. Do a Google search on this - you'll likely find lots of reports about this, and that the indicators are deliberately set to "go" even when there's hardly any moisture in the air. (i.e. a normal humid day, not even using it in a steamy bathroom).
  • That’s interesting, we suffer from quite a lot of condensation in our house , wonder if tht could be a factor, any advice on where I go from here with them .

Warranty their rules so go down the CRA route against the vendor .
You will need to prove via an independant report that their is no damage and its a manufacturing fault .
