    Entirely your prerogative to put your money where you want, but personally I wouldn't see that as a valid like-for-like comparison.

    Sending a child to a state-sponsored faith school inherently involves signing up to a degree of indoctrination or at least direct interaction with a religion.

    It's perfectly feasible for savers to put money into a bank that operates an ethically-based profit-sharing model instead of traditional interest without knowing or caring what religion happens to inspire that model....
