• I have had dealings with OPOS, but never logged into an online account.

If the outstanding balance is £0 then that suggests that they are no longer pursuing you.

Do you have something from TE in writing to confirm that the £120 is not owed? If not, email them and request that they confirm it in writing.

If you do find yourself having to deal with OPOS further then the only way to get any sense out of them is to email a complaint to them.

I found their "customer services" to be impossible to deal with, but their complaint handling does actually seem to work (although they take the full 8 weeks to give a final response, typically).

If they do continue chasing make sure that you email at this address - complaints@oposlimited.com

You could even do this preemptively, sending a complaint stating that:

1) You have written confirmation from TE that the debt is not owed
2) OPOS customer services have refused to confirm that the debt is not owed
3) That you have received nothing from OPOS to confirm that the matter is closed
4) That you require them to confirm, in writing, that the matter is closed and that they will take no further action

at least then you have something in progress.

You have a right under GDPR to correct this, you start with a Subject Access Request (you can get a sample from the ICO website) ask for copies of all records and emails related to you.

Once you have the information you can write to request they correct the information , maybe note that you never owed the money in the first place, maybe delete the record.

If they do not do this then you put in a complaint to the ICO.

You might want to get the energy company to instruct them to delete your record too.
