    Afternoon all,

Went to neàrest M&S to buy 2 new bras.....I find the particular ones I get there very comfortable. OH came with me and treated himself to 2new shirts, 3 new vests and a new aftershave........most unusual for him to buy stuff for himself, not sure what's wrong!!

Raining here for the last couple of hours and is forecast to continue, with the added delight of thunder.......why is it that we can become attached to the sun so quickly but never accept the rain??

My day for dinner, we are having beef stroganoff(spelling??) with rice or spuds and some fresh peas and beans for extra crunch. There is fresh pineapple and pears for pudding with ice cream.

Hugs and positive vibes to everyone.....see you next weekend.

    Good afternoon everyone :hello:

I thought I would post as it's better late than never :D.

I have actually had quite a busy day with Jemima popping over to see me this morning and my mental health worker visited me this afternoon. I have also used my perching stool so I can chop up a load of peppers and onions for dinner tonight, it certainly makes life a bit easier for me.

My feet continue to be very painful so I rang my gp's surgery to ask for a telephone appointment. The earliest they have is Monday next week so I will have to soldier on until then. Jemima brought me some more painkillers as I had run out which helps a little bit.

I am making beef chilli and wedges for dinner tonight. It smells really nice and spicy, hope it isn't too hot for Lee. I have soured cream to cool it off a bit if necessary. Phoebe is working so I will save her some for when she finishes.

Gers, I am so pleased you are managing to have a few days at home and that your mum has improved enough to be left xx
meanmarie, glad you had a productive shopping trip and your dinner tonight sounds lush xx
nelski, good luck with your eye laser op, hope you are done and dusted and all went well xx
tru, yay for the phantom hob cleaner but boo for the furry carpets, ours are the same, comes of having a black dog on light brown carpets. Scampi's Scooby Doo impression sounds adorable xx

Right, I am off to finish sorting out dinner. I need to grate some cheese but I just put a whole block at a time through the food processer so little effort needed....except to wash and dry the food processer itself. It's Phoebe's turn to do dishes so she won't be very happy. Hooray for dishwashers!

Hope you all have a great evening whatever you have got planned, take care xx
