Firefox not showing all printers

My mother has a Windows 10 desktop, a black and white laser printer and a colour printer. Recently, the black and white printer has disappeared from the Firefox print dialogue and she can only print to the colour printer from Firefox.

No other program seems to have this issue, she can print normally from Chrome, Thunderbird and LibreOffice, so it seems to be specific to Firefox.

I have spent a little time Googling for similar issues and solutions, but I have not come up with anything that appears similar. Any tips for how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

First port of call with all Firefox problems: Firefox Safe Mode:

Then new Profile:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles

Basically:
- Disable all extensions and add-ons. See if problem persists.
- Make a new profile and see if the problem persists.

If the problem goes away with a new profile you can copy the bookmarks and the history to this new profile.
If the problem goes away with all extensions disabled then you need to either remove it permanently and/or replace it with another one.

Printers normally show up everywhere or they don't show up at all.

I have not returned to this problem for a while, but I recently came back to it. While fiddling with Firefox safe mode and seeing exactly the same issue, I accidentally nudged the scroll while it was on the printer selection pane and suddenly the problem became blindingly obvious. I had not spotted the scroll bar under the pane. There were in fact a while bunch of "printers" such as fax, MS Print to PDF, etc, which had made the list long enough to be scrollable. It had then been scrolled to a point where only the last printer was visible. Unless you spotted the scroll bar (varying shades of grey on a grey background), it looked as though only one printer was available. :embarasse
